Good Night Tess

Tess, the family dog was taken to the vet toady and put to sleep. She was 15 years old and her back legs had given up the ghost along with a lot of her other functions.

I went over this afternoon and said my goodbye's. She was the most placid dog you would ever meet and she will be greatly missed.

At least she will have some company with Blaze and Tarah.

A Brief Update

Not much to report. Been busy all round.

Looking forward to the catty on Saturday for Martin's Birthday, should be a good night.

The Dream..............Is Still A Dream

Well suffice to say trapsed all the way over to Leith today and the wee beetle wasn't quite what we were looking for. The pictures hide a multitude of sins and it had two much rust for my liking.

Will keep looking and pestering Pamela everytime I see one for sale.

The Dream, Almost Reality

Well, all going to plan, on Saturday i shall be the proud owner of a 1974 VW Beetle 1300. I have always loved these little cars and now the dream is almost reality.

Noticed the add on a VW community website and for it's age the car is in great condition. The interior / exterior is a little tatty but can be sorted with a bit of graft.

Got quotes for classic car insurance which was quite cheap so all in all it's looking good.

Will update on saturday with some more pics hopefully.

The Forum

Their was a time when this place was friendly and people were generally helpful but don't get me wrong their are still some nice people on it.

Recently though their are a few people who just seem intent on being aresholes. I'm happy in the knowledge that I've seen their type all before and while some folk on the forum will do everything to not upset them I cant't be arsed with it. The gloves are off.
